What Elara is

Elara is a personal journaling app with an optional AI interpretation feature. It is a reflective tool, not a clinical one. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, psychological diagnosis, or professional therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line in your region.

Your content

The dream entries you write or record belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over your journal content. Because entries are stored on your device and not on our servers, we have no ability to access, recover, or delete them on your behalf.

Interpretation credits

Credits are tied to the Apple ID you used to sign in. They are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Credits added through a one-time purchase do not expire.

Subscription plans (Monthly and Annual) renew automatically through Apple unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel, go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple and governed by their standard refund policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Elara in any way that violates applicable law, attempts to reverse engineer or interfere with the app or its backend, or attempts to circumvent credit enforcement or authentication.

We may update the app or these terms over time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date at the top of this page.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NerdVista is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Elara, including loss of journal data due to device failure, app deletion, or any other cause outside our control.
